Helping You One Step at a Time

Living with tinnitus can feel like your world has narrowed.

The constant sound, the exhaustion, the lack of clear answers… it’s not just in your ears, it’s in your head, your body, and your everyday life.

At Sharp Hearing, we’re here to help you understand what’s happening and what you can do about it. But without the hype, confusion, or empty promises.

Our Mission

To empower adults living with tinnitus by providing trustworthy and practical information and guidance, so you can take the next right step on your own terms with confidence and clarity.

What We Believe

We believe you deserve:

  • To feel heard and understood. Not dismissed or told to “just live with it”.
  • Clear information, not more guesswork or confusion.
  • Proven strategies that support your brain and nervous system
  • A step-by-step plan that makes sense and helps you feel in control again

Our Values

✅ Clarity – We use plain language and practical explanations that make sense
✅ Research – We provide evidenced-based recommendations that have been proven to help others
✅ Empowerment – We help you take small, manageable steps forward — no pressure, no fear
✅ No Overpromising – We’re honest about what we can (and can’t) do. We don’t sell cures or quick fixes.

Who We Help

Our programs are designed for people who:

  • Experience tinnitus that’s affecting their sleep and ability focus at work or home
  • Feel overwhelmed, stuck, or let down by products or techniques that haven’t worked
  • Want to understand what’s happening in their body and brain
  • Are open to learning new ways to relate to the sound, and to themselves
  • Are ready to take small, supported steps toward calm and clarity

Who May Need a Different Kind of Support

Our programs are not a substitute for medical or mental health care. We’re unable to provide the level of individualised support you may need if you are in any of the following situations:

  • You’re feeling emotionally unsafe, overwhelmed, or having thoughts of harming yourself or others.
  • You’re seeking personalised therapy.
  • You’re currently pursuing or considering compensation related to your tinnitus.

If you need urgent support, please visit the resources listed on our page here.

If you're unsure whether our programs are right for you, please don’t hesitate to contact us first. We’re here to help you make the best decision for your needs.

A Message from Kathryn

I started Sharp Hearing to fill a gap. There’s no shortage of products, therapies, or advice out there, but what’s often missing is clear guidance on what to do next.

Many people with tinnitus are told there’s nothing that can be done. So, they go searching on their own, trying anything that offers a glimmer of hope. The result? Information overload, emotional exhaustion, and sometimes even financial strain.

I’ve seen how tinnitus can take over people’s lives. But I’ve also seen how the right education, support, and tools can help people regain their quality of life again, even if the sound doesn’t disappear.

This isn’t about chasing silence. It’s about finding a way forward that works for you. — Kathryn Diprose, Audiologist & Founder, Sharp Hearing
