Mental Health Services - Emotional Support
If you have immediate plans to harm yourself or others - attend your local emergency department or call 000.

Physical Health - New or Worsening Symptoms
- Book an appointment with your General Practitioner (GP)
- Attend your local emergency department or call 000 if the situation requires immediate emergency care
- A few ear-related symptoms that require emergency department care include, but are not limited to:
- Sudden hearing loss in one or both ears
- Suddenly unable to hear clearly using your hearing aid or implant device (i.e. you have already changed the battery, removed earwax from the tubing, and changed any spare parts that are recommended by the audiologist to maintain the device).
- Sudden onset vertigo (spinning in one direction) that won't stop
- Sudden onset drooping or weakness on one side of the face
